On this page, I present a number of challenges for writing fanfictions. All of these are Harry Potter, and two of them were the creations of my friends.

Fandom: Harry Potter
The Challenge: If you've seen Across the Universe, you know where I'm going. I want to see an AtU-inspired fanfic. You can use either Harry's time or the Marauders' time. There can be Voldemort or he can be nonexistant. Harry's parents can be Lily and Remus. Ron can be filthy rich. Remus can be a werewolf or a regular human. Magic can play in, or you can keep it out. YOU MUST: keep the characters in-character and have the physical descriptions the same or at least very similar.
Characters: "Jude"; "Lucy"; "Max"; "Sadie"; "Jojo"; "Prudence" (the main Across the Universe cast, really. You can have OCs be extras, but I'd like to see canon people as canon AtU characters.)
Pairings: "Jude"x"Lucy";; "Sadie"x"Jojo"; etc
While we're talking about characters... "Jude" must be from another country (or at least, you know, like a Muggleborn in Pureblood society, so to speak) and must only have his mum at home (he can have a girlfriend like in the film, but no dad, and no siblings.) He must be working-class.
"Lucy" and "Max" must be upperclass and be from the country where this story takes place. "Max" must fit movie!Max's personality, as well as his own in canon. "Lucy" must do the same. "Lucy" must have a boyfriend, who must die in a war, be it Muggle or Wizarding.(This war must also take place on foriegn soil. "Max", also, must fight in said war, and be wounded.
"Sadie" and "Jojo" must be aspiring musicians, as in the movie. (it'd help if they were different races, too.)
"Prudence" must be bisexual and attracted to "Sadie".
"Lucy" and "Jude" must start a relationship and keep said relationship in relatively the same way as movie!Jude and movie!Lucy do in the film. They also have to get in trouble with the law, and Jude has to be sent back to where he's from.
The Resolution... of the story should be similar to that of the film, although you can add a prologue if you'd like.
